Bacon Jam Breakfast Braid

We love making this beautiful breakfast braid. It's simple, different, and delicious!


BACON JAM & BRIE PHYLLO CUPS INGREDIENTS

1 Sheet of Crescent Roll dough
Bacom Jam
Scrambled eggs
Shredded cheese (optional)

BACON JAM BREAKFAST BRAID DIRECTIONS

On a parchment-lined baking sheet, roll out a crescent roll sheet. 

Spread bacon jam (may need to warm it in the microwave if it's been refrigerated) down the center of the crescent sheet. 

Scramble some eggs just how you like them and put on top of bacon jam, top with shredded cheese. 

Now the braided part: Put around 9 cuts along the sides of the dough. Start at the top, gently lifting one strip of the dough and crossing it over the top of the mixture in the center.
Do the same on the other side. 

Go back and forth all the way down criss-crossing the dough. Tuck in the end of the dough if necessary.  

Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve immediately.
